They offer a diverse portfolio of over 110 prestigious international brands and an unmatched retail experience. It encompasses a wide spectrum of all things premium such as watches, eyewear, jewelry, leather accessories and writing instruments.
Our Search Strategy
The client retained us to hire the VP and Business Head for their Eye Wear division, to expand and strengthen their footprint. The candidate would primarily assume leadership position for all Vision and Eye Health matters, in its endeavors to position the group amongst the region’s pre-eminent vision care service provider. Since the candidate was to lead the planning and implementation of significant advancements in optical practices, our challenge was to identify candidates who were strong Sales & Commercial experts (with management and strategy experience) and also a qualified Optometrist. The position was confidential and we carried out a highly systematic search by reach out to candidates from UK, India, and Malaysia as well as other countries.
To mitigate the chances of any hurdles at the final stages with our international candidates, our two final shortlisted candidates travelled to Dubai with their family, before we put them through the final interview with the CEO of the group. After a very extensive interview process, both candidates were identified to be offered. While one of the candidates was offered the VP position, the other candidate is under consideration for another senior role within the group. We also played a critical role in the final offer negotiation process.
