Smita Prabhakar has been in the region for more than 30+ years. She founded an HR Outsourcing firm roughly 30 years back (AMS International) and has built it into a niche firm in the region in its area of service offerings. Further, Smita purchased the license of MRI Worldwide UAE in 2012 (part of the global MRI Network) to expand the scope of the already existing HR services that AMS International was providing. Under her leadership, AMS International has become a trusted partner of choice for clients across the countries it operates in and MRI Worldwide continues to be amongst the top 3 International offices of the global MRI Network.
Smita Prabhakar is the founder and Chairperson of the Ishara Art Foundation. The Ishara Art Foundation is her contribution to the arts and culture in the UAE, a space to share South Asian culture with the local community and diverse international audiences in the MENASA region.
She is well known in the corporate circles and is also an avid collector and connoisseur of contemporary Indian art. She is currently on the Advisory Board of Art Dubai and is an International Patron of the Peggy Guggenheim Museum, Venice.

Gaurav joined MRI Network in Dubai in 2012 and brings to the table a total of 15 years of experience in Executive Search and Recruitment. He has been a Producing Manager since 2017.
His forte lies in the banking and financial services domain (private banking, private equity, investment banking, institutional equities) and over the years, he has executed more than 90 leadership and senior searches for prominent global as well as local firms.

Over 18+ years of relevant HR professional work experience, specializing in Talent Acquisition with 15 years in Dubai. She has done work as Project Lead and Expert for turn-key recruitment project solutions for luxury Retail, large and local banks based in UAE and Telecommunication Companies in Africa. For her various roles, she has been identifying and placing talent from across Middle East (including Levant), Europe, Sub Sahara Africa and South East Asia. She has led a project for mass recruitment drive by a large local institution in UAE for their hiring of candidates from Indonesia, Malaysia and Sri Lanka.
In one of her previous Corporate roles with Barclays Bank, she spent 4 years in the field of Human Resources. As a country resourcing lead, worked with all internal recruitment heads across Emerging Markets involved in manpower planning and talent acquisition, management and development.

Sirish joined MRI WW in 2018 and brings roughly 15 years of overall experience prior to MRI. Having initiated his career in the Media and ITeS industries, he moved to search in 2009.
Over the last many years in the recruitment space he has carved out a niche in the banking and financial services space, and has covered the markets of Middle East, Singapore and UK where he has identified talent for global names, local names, boutique financial services firms and Consulting firms as well.
Sirish has successfully executed a number of mid-level to senior-level searches across functions of Sales, Relationship Management, Compliance, Finance, Advisory, to name a few.

Varun began his career in recruitment back in 2010 when he waved goodbye to his 8 and half year BPO career and joined the fold at a Global Executive Search company based in India – Egon Zehnder. It was a baptism of fire and although he was thrown in the deep-end, he took to it like a fish to water. Learning new skills, thriving on the pace and loving the work he knew immediately he had found his vocation in life.
Fast-forward 12 months and the tables turned, and the headhunter became the headhunted when a European executive search company looking to build their profile in Asia invited him to lead their research and shared services team. He jumped at the opportunity and over a three-year period my team and he helped the business become a market leader.
Relocated to Dubai in 2014 and spent 1 year recruiting within the corporate talent acquisition team of a large real estate organization, specializing in sourcing Leadership Talent for a wide range of functions across Middle East and Africa.
Having worked both in Retained search and Contingent search environments gives him a competitive edge in the Market.

Mary Ann brings a decade of overall experience and moved from the Philippines to UAE at the start of 2011. Prior to joining MRI WW in 2014, she was part of a specialized local Recruitment firm for nearly 4 years where she developed her passion for people and aptitude for research and recruitment. She is equally effective in delivering on single position mandates as well as large volume mandates in her area of specialization, largely across UAE, Oman and KSA. She has earned credibility in the market place across positions of sales, marketing (traditional and digital), e-commerce, optometry, operations, logistics, among others right from junior to senior levels. Mary Ann has recruited candidates to the ME region from across Eastern Europe, Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia, India, GCC, Levant and North Africa.
